Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Siakly at siakly.me. By creating an account or using Siakly, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Siakly.

Who can use Siakly

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Siakly. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Don’t share your credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Your content

You own the content you add to Siakly — your text, links, images, and other material (“Your Content”). To run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize images), and publicly display Your Content, solely to operate and display your Siakly page and provide the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already cached, backed up, or that you’ve shared publicly.

You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it doesn’t violate these Terms or anyone else’s rights. We may remove content or limit accounts we believe violate these Terms, but we’re not obligated to monitor content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Siakly to:

  • break the law or infringe others’ rights (including intellectual-property, privacy, and publicity rights);
  • post or link to content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence;
  • impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • distribute spam, malware, phishing, or fraudulent or deceptive schemes;
  • scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with the service or its security, or access accounts or data that aren’t yours;
  • resell or commercially exploit the service except as expressly allowed.

Usernames

Usernames are assigned on a first-come basis. Some are reserved, and we may reclaim, suspend, or reassign a username that infringes a trademark, impersonates someone, is used in bad faith, or otherwise violates these Terms.

Third-party services and links

Siakly lets you add links to, and connect, third-party services. We don’t control those services, don’t endorse them, and aren’t responsible for them; your use of them is governed by their terms and is at your own risk.

Availability and changes

Siakly is offered “as is” and is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or parts of it) at any time. We try to keep Siakly available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Our intellectual property

Siakly — including its software, design, logos, and brand — belongs to us and is protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the service normally.

Termination

You can stop using Siakly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, the license you granted us ends as described above, and any sections that should survive (such as disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siakly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any content will be preserved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siaklyand its operator won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Siakly and its operator from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or others’ rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country / region], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute, unless your local law gives you a non-waivable right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
